Andy joined CPA in 2022 and now heads up the crane and power transmission department. Between 1997-2002, Andy undertook a modern apprenticeship, during which he won the Apprentice of the Year award for his scheme. Over the years, Andy has worked for world leading companies, many of which he now represents as a partner at CPA. Andy’s role includes helping with business development, technical support and suppliers within the cranes and power transmission department.
Outside of work, Andy has four children, enjoys spending time with his family and you will often find him exercising at the gym.
Brian started his career as an electrical apprentice with the largest hydraulics equipment manufacturer in the world before moving into the automation arena with Omron Electronics. He then went on to become Technical Manager, and later General Manager, of Magnetek UK Ltd where he travelled extensively selling and supporting Magnetek’s niche AC and DC drives for the lift industry.
Brian joined CPA as part of the acquisition of the Magnetek business in 2020 and his role involves managing the day-to-day running of the office while managing product lines, generating new business and providing technical support.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys watching football (the mighty Blackburn Rovers!), playing golf, CrossFit and spending time on the Norfolk coast.
Christophe takes care of international sales and has been working as an Export Sales Manager for the past 13 years, serving customers from various industry sectors that require electrical parts for industrial automation. His goal is to understand customer needs and give them the service they seek.
Outside of work, Christophe is an addicted Fisherman, and regularly tries to get some Trout and Seabass on the line. He also enjoys the outdoors and is always up for an adventure.
Jim is a product and channel management executive veteran of Honeywell, Rockwell Automation and GE. Over the years, he’s built a comprehensive understanding of the products and channel delivery mechanisms of both the industrial and commercial automation worlds.
Jim has been with CP Automation for ten years serving in multiple roles in the EMEA region and he is currently based in South Africa, where he deals with front line sales enquiries.
John started his career as an electrical apprentice at Texas Instruments, working in the semiconductor industry, and has held various roles over the years. These include Global Field Service and Commissioning Engineer at Unico, Inc., UK Sales Manager Services & Drives at Routeco, EMEA Account Manager at Magnetek and Business Development Manager for UK & Ireland at Rockwell Automation.
John enjoys watching the NFL and all things health, mind and body.
After 20 years of working in the industry, Tony took the plunge with three colleagues to create CP Automation. Another 20 years later, it has grown to become a customer service-driven company, which it owes to its loyal employees and suppliers.
Tony's background in the automation industry has served him well in providing a focused message, which is at the heart of all that CP Automation offers. Moving forward, he hopes to continue driving this growth based on these principles and service.
