Comsys ADF P100
The ADF P100 active filter gives you everything in a compact format. Although compact and cost-effective, the ADF P100 features the same excellent cutting-edge performance as its bigger ADF P300 family member.
Like its bigger brother, the ADF P100 is ultra-efficient and easy to use. However the wall mounted format gives a more cost-effective packaging and allows the use of ADF technology in applications the ADF P300 cannot access.
The ADF P100 has a nominal compensation current of 70 to 130 A RMS (three wire, 480V), 100 A RMS (four wire, 415V), and 90 A RMS (three wire, 690V). It is available in the voltage ranges 208 – 690 V RMS nominal, four wire up to 415 V RMS. The tall and narrow design allows the ADF P100 to be used in applications where space is at a premium.
The ADF P100 can be commissioned using the Web User Interface (WUI) called ADF Dashboard. No special software needs to be installed on the laptop to perform commissioning, all that is needed is a laptop with an ethernet port and an ethernet cable and a recent web browser.
The new optional HMI-3 provides a graphical interface for commissioning, operation and systems management. Standard equipment is an indicator button which can start and stop the system. The HMI-3 is a new, optional, graphical HMI with color touch screen display.
In addition to the WUI, you can interface to the standard hardware using Modbus TCP (license key is required). You can start/stop the system, read out power quality data, and change control parameters and settings via fieldbus. The flexible functionality allows integration to overlying control such as a PLC or SCADA systems. The overlying system can change control parameters, or change compensation sets on the fly. This is useful in for example marine- and generator applications.
Other fieldbus interfaces (such as Profibus, Profinet) are available on request.
Each ADF P100 active filter is customized to maximize performance in each application. The common features that all systems share include:
Application features
Dynamic VAR compensation
Harmonic elimination
Load balancing
Control features
Fully customizable harmonic compensation
Several ADF P100s can be combined for higher power
Insensitive to network conditions
Idle mode during low load (Standby)
